Perry Jackson Obituary

Perry was a Cool Dude. Always stayed fresh.

Although I haven't seen Perry in years, I still remember the first time I met him in Lincolnville. It was summer of 1992. He was at the basketball court with his friends. I remembered him asking me if I would let him take me to Red Lobster. When I'd asked him how he managed to get us to the restaurant, his response was we could take his bike. Needless to say, we never made it to Red Lobster. Life is funny, I hadn't thought about that conversation again..that is until the day my friend called to inform me he had passed. I can only imagine the pain you all are enduring, but please take comfort in knowing that although you all loved him, Jehovah loved him more. We are only here for the passing. Jehovah blessed you with three decades of memories of your loved one. Now, Perry is peacefully at rest. My prayers go out to you all.

Im sorry Perrry I couldnt make it to your funeral but I still think about you all the time....I really miss you. We had good times together in Summerville. You were there for me when I needed you vice versa. I remember when Dorine died and I was afraid to live alone, you were there...I remember your very 1st car ........the Goose Creek days ...... the black Navi with the tv's.......I can go on and on with lots of memories...I should have got in touch with you when I came home about 2 months ago because my mind was on you then..I MISS U SO MUCH...you will always be remembered.... LUV U ALWAYS...

To my brother, my friend Perry. Words cannot express how I feel. You are truly missed by family and friends. I will miss the times we have spent together and all the laughs we've shared. I remember when Lil Terrell (TJ) had a fever and I called you to bring me some Motrin and even though it was late you were there. I miss hearing your voice and most of all I miss all the stories you told. I want to say I Love You and you will always be in my heart.
Kiana, Bj, Terrell and Mrs. Pat although I cannot say I know how you feel because I don't. I will say you all are in my prayers. Ms. Pat, Perry was many things to me, but most off all a friend and I am so blessed to even have known him. I will keep the memory of my sons uncle in his heart and mind. I love you all.

For the short time I have known you, you made an impact on me. You were a friend exactly when I needed it. I send my condolensces to your family, especially your children, during this unexpected event. There are times in our lives when we all wish we took different paths to keep in touch with those who are in our lives. Never take anything for granted. You will be missed.

First I would like to give my condolences to the Jackson Family. I remember Perry as A.P. That was my homeboy and he helped me in a very hard time in my life at the end of last year and I will miss him dearly. R.I.P...I will never forget you!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Perry was my uncle.I'm his oldest nephew.It seemed like yesterday when me and him would be talking about how I was doing in college.I graduate on May 3rd.The last time I spoke with him he said he was going to be there.I'm gonna miss you Uncle P.I love you man and I miss you.

Perry and William...lol..those were the days although we had our ups and down but overall, you were a good person and you will be sadly missed. I can't believe your gone.
