I consider it a priviledge to have know Dr. DeLoach. He was my physician for 25 years and delivered my wonderful twins. He was always caring and kind, and he listened to my every worry and concern. Dr. DeLoach always had a Gamecock joke to share with me and made me laugh. I will always remember his passion and kindness. He will be missed. I loved his gentle spirit. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends. He always had stories to tell me of his adventures and his family. Even in the middle of the delivery of my children, he was telling his co-surgeon a fishing story about "the one that got away!" Rest in peace, Dr. Perry. You will be missed. I was priviliged to be present when Perry Deloach delivered my sister's first child. What made the event even more special is he knew and fished with our grandfather. Not only that, I worked as a RN in Labor & Delivery in Augusta, Georgia with several OB/GYNs who knew and respected Dr. Deloach. My memories of my sister's first child's birth, Hunter, were also filled with conversations with him and his relationship with my grandfather and all the hunting and fishing trips they shared. It was a special baby delivery in a large number of ways.
Dr. Deloach not only has respect from me, but also from a large number of OB/GYN's I worked with for 15 years. He will be missed by not only his long-term patients, but by those of us who also got to know him by a fortunate personal association.
I am so sorry for your own personal loss, and I feel blessed to have known him.

Everyone who knew Perry DeLoach will feel such a loss. He was a person that always lifted your spirits and made your day better. He exemplified caring, warmth and professionalism. He provided wonderful care and took time to know his patients. He was more than a doctor to his patients, he was a friend. My prayers are with your family.
