Dear Mr. and Mrs. Adkins, and Kayleen and family -

Somehow I've only just learned of Danielle's passing today, as we lived far away from each other and would sometimes go months without talking. I'm heartbroken to know that she's gone, and am sending many thoughts and prayers your way.

Danielle and I first met in Australia when we studied together at JCU, and reconnected when we were both living in California. Driving across the country with her when she moved back to South Carolina is one of my most treasured adventures, and I am so grateful to have had her as a friend. Her time on earth ended far too soon, but her smile and spirit touched so many lives and she will live on in our hearts forever.

I had the pleasure of knowing Danielle during my first year at USCA. She was a person that people just gravitated to. Always a smile on her face and a contagious laugh. My sincere prayers and condolences to her family.

I was so sorry to hear of Danielle's passing.I was Head of College of George Roberts Halls at James Cook University whilst she was in residence. Far too young to go.

I was fortunate enough to meet Danielle during her stay in Australia. That said, she wasn't to hard to miss with that beautiful smile lighting up any room she entered.

Despite being on the other side of the world we had managed to stay in contact. I consider myself very lucky to have been able to call her my friend.

She spoke at length of the love she has for her family. That love way easy to see by all.

We will all miss her, however, please take comfort in the fact that she will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

You were so very fortunate to have her as your daughter. To us, she was a very close friend. She was bright, energetic and loving to have around. I spent some time with her a Katie's Wedding. We always had open conversations and she would share her wordly ideas with me.

I met Danielle while studying abroad in Australia during college. We
quickly became great friends on the first day of our arrival on the JCU campus. We spent the next 6 months always together and laughing on many of our Australian adventures.

I even visited her for a week in
Charleston years later. We always managed to catch up when we could.

I loved Danielle dearly, enough to know how deeply she loved her family.

Danielle and her family will forever be in my thoughts.

One of the greatest moments of my life was when I was a freshman at USC-Aiken, and met my neighbors, "The Swansea Girls", Alison, Amanda, Lindsay, and Danielle... and to then find out that Danielle was best friends with my cousin Quincy was awesome! I will always remember her beautiful smile and vibrant personality, and the crazy times we had at USCA! It is my prayer that the peace of God comfort you all now and forever.
