Pelham Mills Obituary

MILLS, JR., Pelham The Reverend Pelham E. Mills, Jr., a retired Episcopal priest, died in his home in Mount Pleasant, SC, on Monday, September 17, 2007. He was 82. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Connie) Mills, of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Judy Mills Peckenpaugh, also of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Judy Mills Peckenpaugh, also of Mount Pleasant; a son, Pelham E. Mills, III, of Lancaster, CA; and a son, Michael Mills, of Houston, TX; three granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate his life is planned for Saturday, September 29, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Mount Pleasant. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.

Judy and Connie and family. Our thoughts are with you. Pelham was a kind and gracious man. We are all enriched by knowing him and will miss his joyful spirit. He was truly a man of God and exemplifed what it means to be a Christian.
