Peggy Annette Bishop Stanley Tuten EARLY BRANCH, SC - Mrs. Peggy Annette Bishop Stanley Tuten, 60, of Sambrook Drive in Early Branch, SC, died Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010, at the home of her daughter in Port Royal, SC. Born December 16, 1949, in Orangeburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William James Bishop and Pearl Stephens Bishop. She was a homemaker and attended Colston Community Baptist Church in Bamberg, SC and West End Baptist Church in Hampton. She is survived by her husband, David Andrew Tuten of Yemassee; one son: Jamie Stanley and wife Brooke of Swansea, SC; three daughters: Angie Heape and husband Charles of Early Branch, SC, Rhonda Smith and husband Mark of Varnville and Lynda Masters and husband Clair, Jr. of Port Royal, SC; 4 brothers: Bill Bishop of Orangeburg, George Bishop and Jimmy Bishop, both of Ehrhardt, SC and Joey Bishop of Bamberg, SC and one sister, Linda Haltiwanger of Varnville, SC. There are 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her first husband, Sammy Stanley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 11 AM in the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial following in the Sandy Run Cemetery, conducted by Rev. James Porter. Friends may call Friday evening from 5 until 7 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, SC 29924 (803-943-3352).
