I would like to offer condolences to the entire McLeland family. "Miss Peggy" worked with my mother at the NLSO for many years. I always enjoyed coming to visit and help her during my breaks from school. She had a heart of gold and always knew how to make everyone near her smile. She will be missed and our prayers are with you!

Peggy was the greatest, and there is no other way to say it. I loved her dearly and miss our long talks and her subtle way of shedding light through telling stories. She was a loving and wonderful mother and grandmother, and most of all – a wonderful friend. My sweet memories are full of humor, stories of yesterday, classic movies, Hummels, and world’s best sweet tea. I miss her a lot and my thoughts and love are with you all.

I'm saddened by the death of Peggy. She was a dear person. I worked with her at NLSO for many years, and she was a dear friend. I have thought of her many times and meant to call her and chat. She always brightened my day with her stories. She loved her children and grandchildren so very much.
