Peggy Alice Mazzell N. CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 3, 2011, Peggy Alice Balliet Mazzell, 77, wife of Luther John Calvin Mazzell, Jr. of North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Peggy Mazzell are invited to attend her funeral service in Wando Woods Baptist Church, 4321 Dorsey Avenue, North Charleston, on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Sunday at 2:00 pm in Wando Woods Baptist Church, one hour prior to service. The graveside committal service at Bethany Cemetery will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL. Peggy Mazzell, born July 16, 1933 in Lincoln Park, Michigan, one of five children of the late Carl Arling Balliet, Sr. and Edna Chapman Balliet. Peggy was a long time member of Wando Woods Baptist Church. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Luther, sister, Kathleen B. Goettsch and her husband Russell of North Charleston, SC; brother, Thomas Chapman Balliet, Sr. and his wife Brenda of Martinez, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, son, Mark McCarthy Mazzell, and two brothers, Carl Arling Balliet, Jr. and Herbert Truman Balliet, Sr. Flowers will be accepted or memorials donations may be made to Wando Woods Baptist Church, 4321 Dorsey Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405.
