Peggy Combahee Obituary

Peggy Combahee MONCKS CORNER - Peggy Carolyn Combahee "Memaw", age 68, of Moncks Corner, SC entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2012 surrounded by friends and family. Peggy was born on December 20, 1944 in Egypt, GA. She is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Gunby of GA and Edward Gunby of TX, two sisters, Patsy McAllister of GA, and Pam Wiles of AZ, three children, Terry Jenkins of Hilton Head, SC, Melissa Burton of Moncks Corner, SC, Chris Veazey of Goose Creek, SC, and best friend Betty Jean "JP" Pennington of Moncks Corner, SC. The true Legacy of "Memaw" is survived in her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memaw was a simple woman, rooted deeply in faith; she touched the lives of all that knew her with unconditional love and support. Memaw will be remembered in a celebration of her life March 16, 2013 at the home of Chris Veazey. A private ceremony will be held at her home in Egypt, GA on Easter Sunday. She will be dearly missed by all. "And now these things remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest of these is Love". 1 Corinthians 13:13. Thank you for teaching us all how to love Memaw.
