Dear "Thompson Girls",
You are all in my thoughts and prayers, as you go through this difficult time. I wish I had been able to come to Columbia for the visitation and service. The news of your mom's passing has brought back so many good memories of times spent with her...from my childhood through adulthood. I remember eating at her table on Sundays after church, playing paperdolls with you girls in the afternoon, and then having her take us back to church for Training Union, at night. I have spent many hours with her sitting and talking and laughing, while she was sewing...even spending time in the kitchen with her while she cooked or baked those wonderful cakes. (I have shared her Caramel Pound Cake with many friends!) She was loved by my entire family and will be missed!! May your special memories bring you great comfort in the days ahead.
Love to you all!

We are so sorry for your loss. She was a great woman and touched so many lives with love and kindness. The few times that we were able to meet with her you could just tell that she was a good Christian woman and that she truly loved The Lord.
