Pauline Bissonnette Obituary

BISSONNETTE, Pauline Pauline McDurmont Bissonnette, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, wife of the late Albert F. Bissonnette, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2006. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Hibben United Methodist Church, Friday, January 6, 2006 at ten thirty o'clock. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 o'clock. Mrs. Bissonnette was born August 4, 1922 in Samson, Alabama, daughter of the late Fred L. McDurmont and Lillie Beckham McDurmont. She was a retired librarian with the Groton, Massachusetts Public Library and also a member of the Joy Circle at Hibben United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Eva R.M. Fitzgerald and her husband, Richard, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and her son, Paul A. Bissonnette and his wife, Christine, of Boylston, MA, two brothers, Bill McDurmont and Bob McDurmont, both of Pensacola, Fl, two sisters, Blondell Davison, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Andree M. Holley, of Panama City, FL, five grandsons, Jeffrey L. Fitzgerald, Matthew P. Bissonnette, Andrew P. Bissonnette, Eric A. Bissonnette and Alex C. Bissonnette. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alison M. Fitzgerald and her brother Edwin McDurmont. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405-7493 or Alison M. Fitzgerald Memorial Handbell Choir, c/o Porter-Gaud School, 300 Albemarle Road, Charleston, SC 29407. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com. Eva and Dick, Peggy and I are very sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Pauline was always the nicest lady and I know she is missed by many. Peggy and I are out of town and will not be able to make it. May the Lord bless ya'll. Love RIAL & PEGGY
