THIS JUST BREAKS MY HEART. PAULA WAS A DEAR FRIEND OF MINE [AND HER PARENTS AND MY PARENTS WERE CLOSE FRIENDS] WHEN WE ALL LIVED IN CHARLESTON. WHEN I THINK OF PAULA, THE WORDS ---ELEGANT LADY ---COME TO MY MIND---SHE WAS A FUN FRIEND TOO -WE SPENT MANY NIGHTS TOGETHER -TALKING TILL DAWN, EATING JUNK FOOD, AND PLANNING OUR DREAMS FOR AFTER HIGH SCHOOL AND OUR FUTURE LIVES AND MY ONE CONSOLATION IS THAT SHE FULL FILLED THE TEEN WISHES FOR HER FUTURE ALTHOUGH WE BOTH MOVED AWAY FROM CHARLESTON, WE DID KEEP IN TOUCH--I KNOW HER MEMORY WILL BE A BLESSING TO ALL WHO KNEW HER AND I SEND SINCERE SYMPATHY TO ALL OF HER FAMILY AND ALSO A BIG HUG TO HER BROTHER ,SAM-WHO MAY REMEMBER ME FROM HIS YOUNGER DAYS- G-D BLESS
