Paul Windell Shelley N. CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 5, 2010, Paul Windell Shelley, husband of Mary Hoff Shelley. Residence, North Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shelley are invited to attend the funeral service of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 GREENRIDGE ROAD, Monday, March 8, 2010 at eleven o'clock.Entombment to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Sunday evening, March 7, 2010 from five until seven o'clock. Mr. Shelley was born November 18, 1933 in Conway, South Carolina to the late Jessie W. Shelley and Mary Cooper Shelley. He was a member of Low Country Freewill Baptist Church and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard, shop 17. In addition to his wife Mary of North Charleston, Surviving are his daughters, Delores "Dimples" Smith of Huger, SC and Paula Mullen of Charleston; two sisters, Katie Cash of Columbia, SC and Peggy Costa of Walterboro, SC; three grandchildren, Crystal, Robbie and Katie; and a great-granddaughter, McKinley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt.Pleasant, SC 29464. Mr. Paul was such a sweet person. I never saw him without a smile on his face. We will miss him sitting on his favorite pew in Church, but knowing he is in a better place will be a comfort. God bless you all.
