Paul Priddy Obituary

Paul Priddy ST. GEORGE - Paul Raymond Priddy, 71, of 380 East Main St. Harleyville passed away on May 4, 2012 at the Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro, SC after a long illness. Ray was born August 27, 1940 the oldest son of the late Paul O and Lenora Norton Priddy and he grew up in Ridgeville. He graduated from Harleyville-Ridgeville High School in 1958 and entered into the US Navy and served 10 years. He then attended Appalachian State University. He and his family lived in Morganton, NC are for 30 plus years. Surviving: two daughters, Billie Rae (David) Etheridge of North, SC, Rene Priddy of Harleyville, SC, and a son, Randy (Jacque) Priddy, Fuquay-Varina, NC; siblings, LaVonne (Holcombe) Bell of Harleyville, Col. Ron (Kathy) Priddy of Fairfax, VA, Becky Leavitt of Jacksonville, FL and Russell (Leisa) Priddy of Immokalee, Fl; grandchildren, Lindsey and Amie Swicegood of North, SC, Lanie Priddy of Harleyville and Brayden Priddy of Fuquay-Varina, NC; eight nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Harleyville, where he was a member. Family will receive friends at 2:00 in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family request donation memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Harleyville, East Main Street, PO Box 345, Harleyville, SC 29448.
