Paul Miller Obituary

SCPO Paul William Miller, US Navy, Retired, age 79, of Russellville, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday morning, surrounded by his devoted family. All services will be held privately. Born March 20, 1946, in Newton, Illinois, Paul was the son of Paul Donald Miller and Pauline Dawn Burke Miller. He proudly served his country as a boiler technician aboard naval ships, dedicating his career to the United States Navy. After retiring from military service, Paul pursued his passion for automobiles as an auto mechanic, finding joy in working on cars. Paul cherished his free time spent fishing, coon hunting, and reading. Above all, he deeply loved his family and treasured moments shared with them. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia Marie Luke Miller; two sons, Kevin Miller and his wife Stacy of Russellville, and William Miller of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Janice Wykoop, Laura Ann Jorsen, and Pauletta Garner, all of Dyer, IN; three brothers, Floyd Miller of Illinois, Darrel Miller and his wife Joyce of Florida, and James Miller and his wife Shirley of Indiana; as well as six grandchildren.
