Paul and I were in the Navy together in 1972 and 1973. We were stationed together in San Diego, Vallejo, and Idaho Falls. We also shared off-base apartments in those duty stations.
I don't know if Paul ever talked about his 1970 Triumph 650 Bonneville. He bought it at the navy federal credit union in 1972. This is a picture of me and some neighbor kids standing next to the bike. Paul had a Captain America motorcycle helmet (from Easy Rider). His bike was stolen and he bought a new 1972 Plymouth Duster - it was a hot rod. I have another picture of him standing in a three foot snow drift on the road to Lake Tahoe (if I can find it).
I lost track of Paul in late 1973 when he left Idaho, and I got married. I recently found him on the internet, but didn't get the opportunity to speak.
I am sorry for your loss. And when you can, I'd love to hear about his family and life after 1973.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Paul loved family!

Angela, we can not imagine the pain that you and your family are going through right now. Although we did not know your Father personally, we
know what an awesome man he was, as he raised an incredible, and beautiful daughter. It is heartbreaking for us to even think about Heather, Meagan and Stone losing their Daddy. We are so very sorry for your loss and we are praying for your Father, you, Jaeson, your boys and for everyone that loved your wonderful Father. With love and sincere sympathy, Cindy Orton and family
