Paul Martin, a wonderful man. We called him "Mr. Martin" when he was the Football Equipment Manager at The Citadel during the late 60's and early 70's. He seemed to always have a warm smile and was glad to see you. Mr. Martin was the one man on campus I knew I could talk to without be screamed at. After he left The Citadel he would always ask how the former players were doing. There needs to be more men like Mr. Martin in this world. We will miss you.

I had the pleasure to work along side Paul Martin for several years at The Citadel. He was such a class act, he was always positive and always a team player. After his time in the Athletic Department he came to work with us in Health and PE, he also worked along side with the Summer Camp. I was always proud to work with him, knew he would always do his best and represent us well. The world could use a lot more men like Paul Martin.
I celebrate his life, I cherish our time together, recall our back home again in Indiana stories and I can truly say that I don't have one negative recollection of our time together, what a legacy. The family is in our prayers for your loss and we celebrate with you the life of a most outstanding citizen and soldier. We are all better off for
his time with us.
