Paul Thomas March SUMMERVILLE, formerly of N. CHARLESTON - Paul Thomas March, Jr., 102, of Summerville, formerly of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of the late Wilma Naomi Turner March, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 5, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel. Paul was born July 11, 1923, in Cowan, Tennessee, son of the late Paul Thomas March, Sr. and the late Aline Caperton March. He served his country in World War II and retired from the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and was a life member of Fleet Reserve Association. Paul loved watching game shows and was a huge Atlanta Braves fan. He is survived by daughters: Gale Nathan (Norris "Nate") of Summerville, SC, Brenda Hiers (Bill) of Ladson, SC, Beverly Shaffer (Marvin President) of N. Charleston, SC; son, David E. March of Summerville, SC; grandchildren: Amanda March (Rob), Daniel March (Greg), Krystal Shaffer (Eddie), Cacey Anderson (Jason) and Curtis March; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Charles March of CA and Ann Huntington (Hank) of TN; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by son, Paul Thomas March, III; and brother, Hopkins March.
