Paul Kuchinos
Paul Kuchinos, 88, of Coplay, died Sept. 11, 2004, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall Township. He was the husband of Margaret D. (Podorski). They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last Nov. 27. Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Paul and Sophia (Dziadyk) Kuchinos. He was a draftsman for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 18 years before retiring in 1980. he was a member of Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Northampton, where he was the candle bearer, longtime sacristan and former cemeterian for the parish cemetery. He was a member and Master Mason of Chapman Masonic Lodge 637, and a member of Siegfried Royal Arch Chapter 295 and V.F.W. Post 4714, all of Northampton. He was a longtime writer for the Polka News, Chicago, Ill. He was a private 1st class in the Army during World War II. Survivors: Wife; brothers, Walter and wife Tessie Kuchinos of Wescosville, Peter and wife Nancy Kuchinos of Sacramento, Calif.; nieces, nephews. Services: Burial Services, 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, Assumption of B.V.M. Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1301 Newport Ave., Northampton, with Litiya at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, in the church with Parastas at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements, Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton. Contributions: Assumption of B.V.M. Ukrainian Catholic Church memorial fund, c/o the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton 18067.
