Paul Jones Obituary

Paul Wesley Jones SUMMERVILLE - Paul Wesley Jones, 75 of Summerville, husband of Madelyn Whetsell Jones, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Trident Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2 o'clock PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, Coastal 44-A Markfield Drive, Charleston, SC 29407. Paul was born on October 18, 1936 in Loris, SC son of the late James Mack Jones and Dula Mae Hardee Jones. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was owner of Paul W. Jones Homebuilders, Inc. for 40 years. He loved to build. He was a member of Chaparral Baptist Church, Moncks Corner. Surviving in addition to his wife are: two daughters: Penny Dianne Riddle (Brian) of Ladson and Cynthia Elaine Wood (John) of Hanahan, two step children: Bill Wood of Summerville and Sherri Goble (Keith) of Hanahan, nine grandchildren: Nic, Kristin, Mallory, Cameron, Madelyn, Kal, Michael, Jaydee and Remington, two brothers: Matthew Jones (Sarah) of Summerville and Thomas Jones (Kathy) of Anna Texas, four sisters: Naomi Russ of Hanahan, Ruth Quickel (Stanley) of Georgetown, Ruby Weis (Larry Linthicum) of Dallas, Texas and Mary Ellen Hoag (George) of Pawley's Island, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife: Peggy Jean Elliott Jones and two brothers: James Jones and Enoch Jones.
