Paul Francis Hood Summerville - Paul Francis Hood, 66, of Summerville, husband of 45 years to Carla Pauline Hood, passed away May 8, 2021 at Lowcountry Community Hospice House, Summerville, after a courageous battle with cancer. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 1 to 2 o'clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave., Summerville, SC 29483. A funeral mass will begin at 2 o'clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church. Mr. Hood was born October 6, 1954 in Granville, NY, son of the late Philip John Hood and Mary Louise Amell Hood. After retirement, he opened a home improvement company called "Hood Home Services" company for 5 years.
