Paul Freeman Obituary

FREEMAN, Paul Paul Elliott Freeman, 57, of Goose Creek, husband of Rebecca Armendariz Freeman died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Trident Medical Center. Graveside Funeral service will be held Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2 o'clock at Devotion Gardens, Marion, SC Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening. Mr. Freeman was born November 25, 1948 in Marion, SC, son of the late Charlie Sylvester Freeman and Martha Elizabeth McGill Freeman. He was a graduate of schools in Marion, SC. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Vietnam War. He coached baseball for many years, was active in youth athletics and enjoyed hunting. Surviving in addition to his wife are, two daughters, Missy Gill and her husband Brad of Holly Springs, NC, Angela Moseley and her husband Barry of Goose Creek; one son, Richard Charles Freeman of Goose Creek; four grandchildren, David Joseph Riddle of Holly Springs, NC, Matthew Paul Moseley and Zachary Jay Moseley both of Goose Creek, Kathryn Elaine Gill of Holly Springs, NC; brother, Charles Freeman of Las Cruces, New Mexico; two sisters, Mary Carter of Hartsville, SC and Gail Baker of Goose Creek; and several nieces and nephews. Rebecca! Mary and I was so Saddened to hear that You had lost Paul. I so enjoyed talking to Paul and you in the Commissary and Exchange. When I would meet Paul in town I was assured that Paul would in his way make me feel better than I did before we talked. Paul was a GOOD Sailor.
