Paul Andrews Obituary

Paul McCoy Andrews, Jr. MT. PLEASANT - Paul McCoy Andrews, Jr. died May 10, 2024 after a prolonged illness. Paul, known as Butch to his family and friends, was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on May 27, 1942 to Paul McCoy and Beatrice Welch Andrews. He spent most of his childhood and teen years in the Florida Keys, which he dearly loved. He went on to graduate from the University of Florida, becoming a devoted, lifelong Gator fan. Never straying far from the ocean, Paul spent his career in international import-export shipping throughout the southeast. He is survived by his wife, Linda, a niece & nephew, a great-niece & three great-nephews. His sense of humor, love of practical jokes and full-bodied laugh will be dearly missed. Services will be held Saturday, May 18 at 11 AM - Church of the Holy Communion, 218 Ashley Ave., Charleston, South Carolina. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, consider a donation in Paul's honor to the Church of the Holy Communion.
