Patsy Norris Obituary

Patsy Harris Norris SUMMERVILLE - Patsy Harris Norris, widow of Harris Preston Norris, passed away on the evening of the 22nd of September 2011 at Trident Regional Medical Center. She was retired from the Naval Weapons Station where she worked in Security and Payroll departments. She was born in Anderson, SC on February 3rd, 1935, daughter of the late Paul Harris Sr. and Elizabeth Kay Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister Anne Huffaker and sister-in-law Geraldine Segars. Surviving are her sons William (Rex) Norris and wife Joyce of Rocky Mount, VA, Michael Scott Norris of Jacksonville, NC and Richard Paul Norris of Florence, AZ. Surviving siblings are Alice Dardar of Houston TX, Peggy Sweatman and husband Edward of The Villages FL, and Paul Harris Jr. and wife Ann of N. Charleston SC. Sisters-in-law Joann Crosby and husband Olin Martin Crosby of N. Charleston, SC, Charlotte Boyer and husband Dave Boyer of Goose Creek, SC and brother-in law Jerry Norris of Columbus Georgia and Jack Segars of Goose Creek SC. Grandchildren Woodrow Norris and Alexis Croft, SSgt Jonathan Norris and SSgt Amana Norris, Tony Funk and Susan Downey. Great- grandchildren Nathan Norris, Zoey Caitlyn Norris, Nina Marie Norris and Andrew Downey. Graveside services will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 1 P.M.
