GARBARINI, Patsy Patsy Hamlin Garbarini, 81, of Charleston, wife of Pete F. Garbarini, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Funeral mass will be held Friday, January 18, 2008 at 11 o'clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, Summerville. Rite of Committal with Final Commendation will be held in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston. Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Carolina Hospice, 410 Mill Street, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Mrs. Garbarini was born March 24, 1926 in Dallas, Texas, daughter of the late Frank H. Hamlin and Eula C. Elkins Hamlin. She was a graduate of Central High School, Memphis, TN. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross and St. Francis Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors including her husband are her son, Paul Garbarini of Charleston; daughter, Julie Garbarini Smith of Summerville; daughter, Donna Garbarini Jenkins and her husband Eddie of Summerville; son, J. Michael Garbarini and his wife Sherry of Fernandina Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Summer Lynn Smith, Casey Leigh Smith, Jantzen Tucker Smith, Philip Michael Garbarini, Nicholas James Garbarini, Tighe Elliott Jenkins and Hali Diane Jenkins; great granddaughter, Maria Allison Garbarini; brother and sister, Frank H. Hamlin, Jr. of Texas and Billie Hamlin Layfield of Texas. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Helen Hamlin Douglass.
