With Pat's passing, many many people lost a good friend and musical brother. We shared the stage for a song and a laugh on several occasions, and he was a friend to everyone who knew him. His smile, humor, voice, and wisdom will be missed.
Our thoughts are with Pat's family. Find strength in each other and know that Pat's legacy and love for music will live on with all who knew him.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Gretchen & family, I am not going to tell you how amazing Pat was, you already know that! For years I loved coming out the see the Southlander's as his band filled the clubs, I even still have my coat. He was a very hard working man and took very special pride in his family. Those are honorable traits. I am sorry your going through difficult times, his memory will live on. I'm proud to call Pat my friend. I will miss his big ole hugs. Much love to you all.

Gretchen and family...I am so sad for your loss. Pat was, in my world, such a dedicated and supportive man for me as a teacher, coach and friend at Steilacoom HS. It has been my privilege to have been a small part of you, Gretchen and the kids' lives. Thank you so much Pat, for the example you were to so many of us.

Karaoke will never be the same at the Elks Lodge! Pat was one of the best men I've even met and I know that his fellow brother & sister Elks agree with me! Our love and heartfelt sympathy to you, Gretchen and your entire family as you deal with Pat's departure - know that you are NEVER alone! God Bless.

We will miss Pat like crazy. I somehow get this feeling that he will be keeping a watchful eye on us all to be sure we are doing things the way we should be. The great memories we have of our shared outings, get togethers, and amazing friendship will never be forgotten. It was a privilege. People come into your life for a reason, and we both are so thankful for that. We love you Gretchen, and are so very sorry for your loss and for that of your family.
Sincerely.

Mr. McCann! A man with the great spirit of a Lion! When you spoke, your deep and tender voice carried and people listened. I know I sure did! I can still hear your voice, like you were speaking to me yesterday. You were straight forward, "Tell it like it is" but with a cushion - for a softer blow, "Get to the point" and did it with a smile. A man with a charmingly unique wit and a love for Reese's Pieces peanut butter cups! Mr. McCann I will always remember you for all of these things and especially for the greatest loving bond you have with your beautiful wife Gretchen and all of your children.
