Patrick Beale Obituary


BEALE, Patrick Patrick Louis Beale, born November 30, 1947, died April 26, 2005, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. A fourth generation Arizonan, he is survived by his beloved wife Peggy, daughters Jodi Keilman (Ray) and Roxanne Franklin and grandchildren Courtney, Maverick, Sawyer, Nicholas and Christian; brother Michael and sister-in-law Rosemary Beale, sister, Susan Kaufman, grandmother Ethel Sullivan, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory, attended the University of Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University. He served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was sales manager of I-10 International Trucks of Phoenix, Arizona for many years until moving in 2000 to Charleston, S.C., where he was General Manager of Carolina International Trucks of Charleston. He was a long-time member of the Executive Association of Phoenix. He will be remembered by his family and many friends as a consummate gentleman, a great golfer and as a truly charming man who enjoyed every day of his life. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2005, at Coosaw Creek Country Club at 6:30 p.m. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Basilica in Phoenix, Arizona, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to: Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Ave., N. I didn't know Patrick as a grown up, but remembered him from grade and high school as one of the "good guys" when we were kids. Sounds like he stayed one of the good guys which is always nice to know.

I had the pleasure of knowing Pat for nearly 20 years and I never saw him without a smile on his face and a friendly hello. He was a great guy, a great golfer and most of all dedicated to his family and friends. God just got a good one.

I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick while working at Carolina International in Columbia, SC.

He was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all. My deepest sympathies to his family.
