Patricia Ann Rourk Yon CHARLESTON - Patricia Ann Rourk Yon, 72, passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, July 22 surrounded by family & friends after a battle with cancer. She was born March 22, 1944 in Charleston, SC, daughter of William Marion Rourk, Jr. and Vergie Benton Rourk. Patsy graduated from Chicora High School and retired as a Deputy Clerk of Court from Charleston County. She was also employed by Stuhr's Funeral Home Downtown Charleston for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Yon Capps and son-in-law Paul Michael Capps of Mt. Pleasant, Grandsons: Michael, Andrew, and Grayson Capps-all of Mt. Pleasant, Brother: Michael Rourk (Carol) of Charleston and sisters, Mary Rourk Huckabee of North Charleston and Pamela Rourk Hamm (Bobby) of Aiken , sister-in law, Kathy Rourk of Aiken and Uncle Roy Benton (Gerry) of Beaufort, Numerous nieces and nephews, including special thanks to nieces, Amy Rourk Keirns and Ellen Rourk Sudano as well as beloved caregivers Akeia Anderson and Olivia Washington. Patsy was predeceased by her parents and brother, William Marion Rourk, III. The family is being served by Charleston Cremation Center. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 28 at 11:00am, Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd. Mt.
