Patricia Vega Obituary

Patricia Oxiner Vega FOLLY BEACH - Patricia Oxiner Vega, 87, of Folly Beach, South Carolina, widow of Joseph David Vega Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, March 15, 2024. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street, at 1:00 pm. Inurnment to immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road. Patricia was born September 26, 1936, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Wallace Henry Oxiner and Tura Goff Oxiner. She was a Payroll Specialist for the City of Charleston for 40 years. Pat (aka Nana) found immense joy embracing traditions that warmed the hearts of her loved ones. Her laughter was infectious and she supported the happiness of her family and friends wholeheartedly. Her presence exuded a genuine warmth and kindness that touched every soul around her. She will be deeply missed, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. She is survived by her son, Joseph David Vega Jr. (Darlene); daughter, Bonni Vega Dangerfield; four grandchildren, Callie Vega Manning (Martin), Lindsay Dangerfield Haidary (Adam), Rachel Dangerfield Ramsey (Shaun); Kristen Vega; and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Pet Helpers @ pethelpers-bloom.kindful.com. Nana loved her animals!
