Patricia Ellington Pugh HUGER, SC - Funeral services for Patricia Ellington Pugh, who passed away December 21, 2011, affectionately known as "Pat", will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at Steward Chapel United Methodist Church Huger, S.C., with Rev. Steven Love officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Huger, S.C. The body will be placed in the church at l0:00 a.m. She was born November 21, 1948, in Huger, S.C., a daughter of Margie Carson Ellington and the late William Ellington, Sr. She was a retired educator with the the Berkeley County School District. Her daughter, Barbara Genice (Neicy) Pugh preceeded her in death. Survivors are her daughter, Jarelle "Peaches" Harrison (Rashawn) and granddaughter, Paris Genice Harrison of Huger, S.C., two sisters, Doris Hamilton (Bernard) and Carol Rashid (Louis), four brothers, William Ellington, Jr. (Carol) Charles Myers (Mary), Wilbern Ellington, (Elnora) and Rodney Ellington (LaShawn). Carson Funeral Home of St. Matthews is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home and at the residence, 1028 Red Hill Rd. Huger, S.C. I met Pat when her deceased daughter (Barbara) was a patient at St. Francis Hospital where I once was employed. My heartfelt condolences is sent to the family.
