John and family, we are so sad for your loss. We enjoyed having Pat as a friend and I (Rick) especially enjoyed the time we spent as counting buddies when we had teller duty at church. We loved her sweet spirit and dry sense of humor. You are in our prayers as you go through your grief. God Bless You! Rick and Charlene

My heartfelt condolences to Brother John and the entire Leard Family. There are so, so many fond, memorable, and wonderful memories that I have of our Dearest Pat. As I began to write, my eyes are becoming misty, just thinking of all the memories that Pat and I've shared over the years. Pat did so much for me and my Family, but one particular memory comes to mind, which reflects her thoughtfulness and caring. Pat was solely responsible for reuniting me with my Family when I was first hired at Sheppard Air Force Base. Without going into great detail, let me just say that Pat
personally took it upon herself to go above and beyond what was required to make the transfer of my wife and daughter to Wichita Falls, TX. Unbeknownst to me, she worked behind-the-scene to make our Family reunion happen. Over the years, I've been a witness to her countless displays of thoughtfulness, caring, and genuine love that she shared with each of of her extended Work Family members. I can sincerely say, that I am a better human being, man, and father after being profoundly influenced and touched by this Beautifully, Wonderful, Lady.
I Love You Pat and My Forever Brother John.
Love Always, Ridley Wherry
