Patricia Riddle Kestler CHARLESTON - Patricia Riddle Kestler, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 12, 2024. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church at 1:00 pm, and the family will receive friends at the church beginning one hour prior. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel. Patricia was born January 8, 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Henree Marie Rutledge Riddle and Herman Riddle, Sr. Patricia graduated from Rivers High School in 1953. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her husband, Jack, and her two children, Donna and Jackie. She was a founding member of St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and played the piano. She also thoroughly enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball and was an avid fan her whole life. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Kestler, Sr.; two sisters, Jean R. Carter and Louis R. Sander; two brothers, Herman Riddle, Jr. and Jack Riddle; and daughter, Donna M. Kestler. She is survived by her son, Jack "Jackie" R. Kestler, Jr.; and brothers-in-law, Jack Carter and Bernard Kestler. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and (acquired by love): a daughter, two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren, all of whom love and miss her dearly.
