Patricia Jacques Obituary

Patricia Marie Wren Jacques Charleston - Patricia Marie Wren Jacques, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Carl Walter Jacques, Sr., entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 8, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485 at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of service. Interment will follow at Jacques Cemetery, Highway 61, Cottageville, SC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel. Pat was born May 22, 1938 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Warden Wren and Evelyn Linton Wren. She was a longtime member of Old Fort Baptist Church, where she became very involved and assisted in many ways. Pat was a homemaker, but was known for her volunteer work with the Red Cross, Summerville Medical Center and many other organizations. She was dedicated to her family and was always the resident caretaker, whenever anyone in the family fell ill or just needed a hand to hold. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by one son, Carl "Chip" Walter Jacques, Jr. and his wife, Sheree; two daughters, Christine Jacques Wheeler and Lyn Jacques; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 64 years; one little brother, James "Jimmy" Warden Wren, Jr. and one son-in-law, Mike Wheeler.
