Patricia Goldberg Obituary

NEW BEDFORD — Patricia Ann Goldberg, aged 63 years, died Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness in the presence of her loved ones. She was the widow of Elliott Goldberg.

She was the mother of William J. "BJ" Goldberg of Dartmouth and Catherine Mae Casey-O'Malley and her husband, John J. O'Malley III of New Bedford. She is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.

Mrs. Goldberg was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Lillian Mae (Parker) Casey. Pat was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She had worked at Harborview Manor in Dartmouth for many years before going to New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home were she worked for several years until her retirement. She was a volunteer at Dartmouth Council on Aging and Meals on Wheels in Dartmouth.

She enjoyed being with her children, her beloved dog "Casey," her flower garden and the time she spent at Round Hill Beach.

Religious services will be Friday, June 20th, at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-7 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to The Schwartz Center for Children, One Posa Place, Dartmouth, MA 02747-2511.
