Panfilo Rodil, Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - Panfilo Z. Rodil, Jr., 85, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on June 25, 2024. Panfilo was born on December 30, 1938 in Cabuyao Laguna, Philippines to the late Panfilo Rodil, Sr. and Enriqueta Zapido. Panfilo loved gardening, cooking, his favorite sports team was the Boston Celtics. He lived a very simple and quiet life. He retired from the Navy and began working for DuPont, where he would retire from there in 2000. He is survived his daughter, Karen Bautista (Perry O Bautista II) of Virginia Beach VA, two sisters, Cresenciana Timbol, Eurofrania Rodil of Laguna, Philippines, and one nephew, Enrico Timbol of Japan. He is predeceased by his wife, Vicenta Rodil, son, Kevin Rodil. We like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital of Virginia Beach for taking great care of him. Also like to thank all our friends and extended family for their love and support over the years. The family will receive friends on July 5, 2024, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 10 am July 8th, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
