Pamela Ruth Goettsch Sanders COLUMBIA, SC - Pamela Ruth Goettsch Sanders, 55, of Columbia, South Carolina, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Medical University Hospital. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl B. Sanders are invited to attend her funeral service in Wando Woods Baptist Church, 4123 Dorsey Avenue, N. Charleston, Monday, April 30, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Wando Woods Baptist Church, Monday, one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J.HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, North Charleston. Born April 19, 1957, in Charleston, SC, Pamela was the daughter of Russell Dean Goettsch and Kathleen Balliet Goettsch. A graduate of Medical University of SC, she was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Columbia. Pam worked at Longleaf Middle School in Richland County School District #2 as a Registered Nurse. Pamela is survived by her husband of 27 years, Daryl, of Columbia; her parents, Russell and Kathleen Goettsch of Charleston; 2 sons, Russell Lloyd Sanders and Richard Daryl Sanders, both of Columbia; a daughter, Kathleen Ruth Sanders of Clemson; her siblings, Penelope G. Noland (Douglas) of Lexington, SC, Page G. Peterson (Jeffrey) of Summerville, Rodney D. Goettsch (Denise) of Summerville, and Reginald D. Goettsch (Michelle) of Huger; her sister-in-laws, Starla Joy Azevedo (Luiz Carlos) of Brazil and Marla Joyce Castro (Luiz Fernando) of Sarasota, FL; her father & mother-in-law, Missionaries Lloyd David Sanders and Ruth Edna Sanders of Brazil; many aunts, uncles and cousins; 21 nieces and nephews and 12 grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Amancio Coqueiro. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 300 West Coleman Blvd., Suite 206, Mt.
