Pamela Clifton
Yonges Island, SC - Pamela JoAnn Clifton, 66, passed away on December 20. She was born on February 26, 1959, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Pamela was the daughter of the late Bertha Joan Wilson and George Allen Wilson, Sr., and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Clifton.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Wilson Greer; her brother, George Allen Wilson, Jr.; her two grandchildren, Reilly Greer and Sam Greer, whom she absolutely adored; and many cherished nieces and cousins.
Pamela was employed as a Systems Analyst at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), a role she truly enjoyed and took great pride in. Outside of work, she found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, snuggling her beloved dog, Ruby, and tending to her garden.
Family and friends will gather at Carolina Funeral Home and Gardens on Friday, December 26 at 10:00 am followed by the service and burial at 11:00 am. Family will welcome friends for refreshments following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider registering as an organ donor by visiting donatelifesc.org, The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the MUSC Cardiology teams, specifically CICU/5 West care teams at Ashley River Tower, for the exceptionally gentle and dignified care they provided.
