Pagota Purvis Obituary

Pagota Rex Purvis DANIEL ISLAND - Pagota Rex Purvis, 46, of Daniel Island, SC, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his residence. A graveside service will be held Saturday morning, December 7, 2013 at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at 11 o'clock. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6- 8 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted. Rex was born September 18, 1967 in Kingston, NY, a son of Paramata Richard Purvis and Barbara George Purvis. He was formerly employed with Holcim as an operation technician. Survivors include his mother, Barbara George Purvis of Daniel Island; his wife, Karen Harbeson Purvis of Givhans; three sons, Pierce Roland Purvis, Peyton Reese Purvis, and Price Roman Purvis, all of Givhans; seven brothers, Patrick Purvis and Roderick Purvis of Kingston, NY, Peter Purvis of Summerville, Randy Purvis of Harleyville, Pace Purvis of Ridgeville, Reid Purvis of Cottageville, Rally Purvis of St. George; three sisters, Heather Adams of VA, Paige Westbury of Daniel Island, and Dana Richards of Myrtle Beach.
