Michael R. "Pops" Bruno, Born September 6, 1940, At Rest December 23, 2020; beloved husband of 59 years to the late Carol; cherished father of Jim, Michelle (Mark) Wilson and Joseph; loving brother, uncle and friend to many. Mike was one of seven boys growing up and truly embodied the importance of family. His joys in life were opera, movies, and good food. Mike loved, more than anything, his wife and children. He was referred to by many as "Pops" and those who knew him loved his hugs. He was the greatest husband and father who worked hard to support his family. Mike's marriage of nearly 60 years to his late wife, Carol, is the greatest example of love which only grew stronger, as the years went on. He was affectionate, kind, and loyal. His children couldn't be more grateful to have called him "our dad." He will forever live on in our hearts.

There are no words to describe our feelings of deep loss and sadness. Thank you for putting up with a gawky teenage girl who always seemed to be at your house getting lessons in "growing up" from your beautiful and kind wife. Heaven received a beautiful angel.

Uncle Mike, wow, we will miss you tremendously. You were a fabulous father, a Super Uncle to me, my brother Nick, his children, Tony, Dominick, Vincent and Nichole, beloved brother to my Dad, Nick Bruno.
I loved the times Flavio and I visited you. We had the BEST TIME with you and Aunt Carol. We talked, ate wonderful food and most of all LAUGHED. You enjoyed a glass of wine and you enjoyed spending time with us.
I am SO GRATEFUL we had those precious times with you and Aunt Carol, they will be with me forever!!!! I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH. Knowing you’re together helps ease the pain of your passing!!!
