Oscar Lefft Obituary
LEFFT, Oscar The relatives and friends of Mr. Oscar Lefft of St. Stephen, SC are invited to attend his funeral services on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 12 Noon at New Light United Methodist Church, 1037 Russellville Road, St. Stephen, SC. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Chapel, 221 Church Road, St. Stephen, SC. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Angela Lefft-Dunn; son-in-law, Mr. Donald M. Dunn; grandsons, Donald Justin Lefft Dunn and Bradley Jackson Lefft Dunn; and siblings, Mrs. Gladys L. Boone, Mrs. Leila L. Cooper, Mrs. Betty L. Davis and Mrs. Joyce L. Addison. Mr. Lefft was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Terrelle Lefft. Your father took his leave and bidded you farwell. He bowed to you and took his departure. He gave back the keys of his door-and gave up all claims to his house. He only ask for last kind words from you. You were together for long, Now the day has dawned and the lamp that lit his dark corner is out. A summon has come and he was ready for his journey.

We stood together at graduation, were housemates, shared many experiences,transformed Aiken, S.C. and created enough memories to last several lifetimes.
For more than forty years Oscar was my buddy and best friend.
