Mr. and Mrs. Fordham were neighbors of my parents for over 40 years. They always inquired about my parents and their health, especially when my mother and sister were ill. As he pass their porch on that well known bicycle, he would chat with them and especially lifted my father's spirits when my mother and sister passed. I will always have fond memories of him as their neighbor and my church brother.

My condolences to the Fordham Family .His impact in my life goes beyond words could ever explain. He gave hope, structure and discipline to a young kid that needed it. For that I will be forever Grateful.Sports was a tool he used to help me and countless others understand that it´s not how or were you start but how and were you finish is most important.

Our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of my co-worker, adopted father, and friend, Mr. Oscar " Frizz" Fordham. He was an inspiration to all of us in Recreation and his love for youth everywhere in our city. His love for children and people in general was superb. I loved seeing him ride his bike all the time, which I myself did too until I wasn't able to do it anymore. Family, just know that you have so many years of fond memories to look back on. I too will cherish mine also! Thank God for allowing us the times together. You all are in our prayers that God will bless and sustain you during your time of bereavement.

It is times like these that we need to lean on God for strength, wisdom, and understanding to see us through these dark areas in our lives. May God love and grace continue to be with you and the family during your time of bereavement.

I extend my sincere and heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family of my dear friend and softball coach Frizz. He's been an inspiration to myself and soooo many others athletically in the Downtown/City of Charleston. I can remember days and nights running around All the baseball fields throughout the Charleston areas. He taught me how to swing a bat and how to stand and step off to drive a softball in any direction on the field. I have sooooo many fond memories to cherish his Legacy as one of The Best Coaches in Charleston.
RIP and Job Well Done Mr. Oscar Fordham aka Frizz
