Ollie Abrams Obituary

ABRAMS, Ollie ANDREWS - Ollie James Abrams, 86, died Monday, December 3, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Abrams was born October 5, 1921, in Summerton, SC, a son of Mary Corbett and Ollie James Abrams. He was a farmer and an Army veteran. Mr. Abrams was a member of Spring Gulley Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Abrams was preceded in death by a sister, Aletha Critcher and a brother, Newell Abrams. Surviving are: his wife of 61 years, Genelle Smith Abrams of Andrews; son, James Richard Abrams, Sr. (Mary) of Andrews; grandson, James Richard Abrams, Jr. (YeVonne) of Andrews; granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Pope (Tony) of Andrews; great grandchildren, Allison Abrams and James Abrams both of Andrews. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Randy Zurcher, will be 2 P.M. Wednesday in Spring Gulley Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery, directed by WILLIAMSBURG FUNERAL HOME OF KINGSTREE. Memorials may be made to Spring Gulley Baptist Church, 2456 US Hwy 521, Andrews, SC 29510 or Winyah Hospice, 217 Dozier Blvd., Ste. 200, Florence, SC 29501.
