Ole Henrik Caroe MT. PLEASANT - Ole Henrik Caroe entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 2, 2020, at the age of 84. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, December 12, 1935, son of Aage Christian Caroe and Emilie Moustgaard Caroe. He worked in the World Trade Center 2 from 1973-1993 until MAERSK, New York moved out to the suburbs in Madison, New Jersey. Sympathy and Condolences at Ole's passing. We always had good dealings with Ole, in the World Trade Center and Madison, and a few visits in Canada.

My Sympathy and condolence. Ole was a great colleague, I never worked for him but always had pleasant dealings. He was a company man for sure...

My sympathy and condolences for Ole's passing. Ole was my boss for several years in the Conference dept at Maersk in the World Trade Center. He was a good man, totally devoted to the company and a fair and honest colleague. I remember when Ole took up golf and I had the pleasure of playing with him on a couple of occasions, including one at Plainfield CC. He loved the game, and I hope he was able to play as often as he could during his retirement. I will miss him fondly.

This man was my boss from 1983 to 1986.....I had known Ole since his arrival in New York in the early 1970's.
It was only though my experience with Ole as my boss, that I actually grew to appreciate him as a warm human being.
He likewise was a very funny man and those who did not spend a lot of time with him, did not know the extent of his humor.
He always told me he was preparing to spend a great deal of time in his retirement, as all members of his family lived until their 90's.
Sadly, Ole missed out on 6 of those years, but I hope his days spent in South Carolina were the best of his life.
So long my old friend......
