So sad to read about Thomas passing and at such a young age. I worked with him at the shipyard in nuclear repair/overhaul back in the 80s and early 90s. Thomas was always ready to help me in my times of need. My condolenses to the family.

I worked with Otis as a mechanic and as a Nuclear Supervisor in Shop 51 at the shipyard. If Otis had a fault, it was trying to please his mechanics too much.
I liked Otis and he would do anything for you "Over and Above" if you took him aside and asked him.
I lost touch with Otis when I transferred to Kings Bay and every time I passed through Cottageville I woould stop at the BP and look for him. I had a phone number for him that I've been calling for about 12 years, all I ever got was an unanswered call, never any kind of message or indication that it wasn,t Otis's number so I kept calling, I'm sad that I never got a chance to speak to my friend Otis. I'll miss him.
