Norman Warren Obituary

MSGT Norman Amos Warren, USAF (Ret.) Mt. Pleasant - MSGT Norman Amos Warren, USAF (Ret.), 76, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Linda Jean Rogers Warren died Wednesday, August 19, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 10:00 am. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 23, 2015 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Norman was born March 1, 1939 in Erie, Pennsylvania, son of the late Amos Jackson Warren and the late Thelma Garnstrom Warren. He was a retired veteran with the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War and achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a life time member of the Air Force Sergeant's Association. Norman loved to play golf and was a member of the Snee Farm Country Club. While in Albany, GA, he was a member of the Moose Lodge and served as the President of the Moose Lodge Bowling Team. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Linda Warren of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Lonnie Allan Warren and his wife, Deborah, of Mount Pleasant, SC; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Frances Warren and Anna Kristine Warren; one sister, Thelma Vamos of Erie, PA; three brothers, Edgar Warren and his wife, Helga, of Quincy, FL, Marvin Warren of Warner Robins, GA, and Wayne "Wes" Wesley Warren of Warner Robins, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Gordon Warren, Thomas R. Warren, Carl B. Warren, and Walter Warren.
