Charles Noll Obituary

Charles J. Noll LITITZ Charles J. Noll, 67, of 1339 Dridge Hill Road, Lititz, entered into the joy of the Lord on Tuesday at his residence following a brief illness. Born in Lebanon County, he was the son of the late Irvin and Anna Gerhart Noll. He worked for Wilbur Chocolate Co., Lititz, for 35 years and was also a farmer. Charles was a member of Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, Lititz, and a member of Gideon International. He enjoyed traveling, making latch hook rugs and spending time in Florida. He was the husband of Violet I. Martin Noll and they would have been married for 35 years on August 26th. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Linda (Rodney) Reed, Lititz; a son, Kenneth (Jennifer) Noll, Lititz; foster children who lived with the Nolls throughout the years, Khang Tran, Minh Tran, Philip Hammer and Virginia Miller; two grandsons, Jonathan and Jacob Noll; one granddaughter, Carrissa Fritz; two foster grandchildren, Ethan and Claire Tran; and a brother, Leon Noll, Landis Homes. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Smith, Mabel Grumbine; and a brother, Roy Noll. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Charles' Life Celebration from Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, 590 Hammer Creek Road, Lititz, on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Samuel Burkholder and the Rev. Fred Heller officiating. Interment in adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 9:3010:30 a.m. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be sent to Gideon International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800; or Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 176044125 in Charles' memory. Spacht Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Funeral Home," Lititz, is handling arrangements.
