Mr Gillespie will forever be in my thoughts. I had the pleasure of working with him for several months and I always enjoyed starting off my day with him. A man of character and heart who was not afraid of hard work. It was my honor and great pleasure to work with him and his wonderful family. My heart goes out to him and all of you. God bless you always, Norm.

I joined Holmes Ave Baptist church in North Charleston when Rev Gillespie was pastor. He was a wonderful man, dedicated to the Lord's work. I gained a wealth of knowledge about God,s word from him and his wife, Lois. I know both of them are secure in the arm's of Jesus. i say to his family; you were fortunate to have him as your father, grandfather, and friend. He was one of the best preachers and teachers Iv'e had the pleasure to know. God bless all of you.

May God comfort each of you during this time of loss. I served with Rev. Gillespie for a while when he served as an interim pastor at First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant. He was a committed man of God and I rejoice to know he is now in the presence of the One he served for so many years.
