Norma Carolyn Brown Glaesner BAMBERG, SC - Norma Carolyn Brown Glaesner, 75, of Bamberg, South Carolina, formerly of Charleston, SC, wife of the late Fredrick R. Glaesner died Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Norma was born January 15, 1939 in Sylacauga, Alabama, daughter of the late Ernest T. Brown and the late Norma Lee Vernon Brown. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Norma enjoyed gardening and refinishing antique furniture. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Sawyer of Bamberg, SC; one son, Michael Glenn Glaesner and his wife, Rhonda, of Mount Pleasant, SC; one brother, Johnny Brown of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Cameron Glaesner and Taylor Sawyer; three step-grandchildren, Ashley Bowers, Allyson Bond and Angela Ensley and three step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The burial service will be private.
