Nettie Hancock Obituary

HANCOCK, Nettie HENDERSONVILLE - Mrs. Nettie Lee O'Quinn Mock Hancock, wife of the late Lee Mock and Earl Hancock, died Sunday evening at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was 80. Mrs. Hancock was born in Colleton County, February 13, 1925, a daughter of the late Curtis O'Quinn and Leila Pellum O'Quinn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hendersonville Baptist Church. Surviving are her five children, David Mock and wife Debbie, of Walterboro, Connie M. Yow and husband Ronnie, of Ashboro, NC, Judy M. Cook, of Walterboro, Charlie Mock and wife Cindy, of Walterboro, and Bobby Mock of St. George. There are nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Black Creek Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Mabry will officiate. Grandsons serving as pallbearers include Joey Moore, Shane Johnson, Ralph and Jason Cook, and Richard and Eric Mock. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
