Nelson Zittrauer Obituary

Nelson Fenley Zittrauer, Jr. JOHNS ISLAND - Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of October 18, 2010, Nelson Fenley Zittrauer, Jr., husband of Mary Dell Zittrauer. Residence, Johns Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Fenley Zittrauer, Jr., are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Thursday, October 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at the graveside in St. John's Episcopal Churchyard. Mr. Zittrauer was born April 14, 1920, in Savannah, GA, the son of Nelson F. Zittrauer and Ethel Hilton Zittrauer. He served with the United States Navy during World War II and retired from management in the submarine design division at General Motors. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and was a Mason. He is survived by his wife of Johns Island, SC; two sisters, Miriam Harling of Indianapolis, Indiana and Gloria McDonald of Jacksonville, FL; six step-children, Eugene, Randy, Darlene, Robert, Brian and Gloria.
