Nelson Milo McMillen CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest the afternoon of Tuesday March 29, 2011, Nelson Milo McMillen husband of Veda Mae Belger McMillen. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Milo McMillen are invited to attend the funeral service of the former in First Assembly of God, 2957 Savannah Highway, Charleston Friday, April 1, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL this Thursday afternoon from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Born November 12, 1923, in Eldon, Missouri, Nelson was the son of Milo McMillen and Grace Stark McMillen Cochran. He was a member of First Assembly of God and was a veteran of the US Navy. Survivors include his wife: Veda Mae Belger McMillen of Charleston; a son: Dennis McMillen and two daughters: Denise Travis of Summerville and Linda Kinne of Charleston; a brother Fred Cochran of Crestline, CA; two sisters: Rosalee Cummings of East Gary, IN and Bonnie Riley of Crestline, CA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
